i too have this skill delay. Seems it delays ALL my classes.

Another broken aspect of GW since the latest update. lolz

All of my Guildies plus myself have the delay also.

Maybe we have to buy new character slots to stop it.

I assume everyone is just referring to a delay in the skill going off. I think there's also a delay in the recharge as well. After it finishes recharging, it still can't be used for a split second. And after that split second, there's another split second to wait for the skill to execute. Its not very bothersome while playing as a warrior, but I can see how bad it can be on other classes. I think I'm gonna pull out my ranger to see for myself how bad it is.

No, they're most likely referring to lag. Which, I think is caused by Anet streaming me data during my GvG's or whatever other playing I may be doing. It's fun to lose to a ranger spike that a sloth could infuse because your monks have a 1-2 second delay on their casts...

I'm not talking about lag, haven't really had any for this PvP weekend.
I've seen lag, rubberband lag, attacking thin air lag, jump ahead & behind lag etc.

I play mostly casters with 1/4 & 3/4 sec casting spells, I don't chain, because its the surest way to get interrupted.

What I'm talking about is a delay that wasn't there before in activating any skill, it shouldn't take almost 1 sec to cast a 1/4 sec spell with no spirits or enchant/hexes. what I get is a delay between pressing the key for the skill and when the skill starts firing/casting. This is noticable with stances too, which should be immediate.

This is something that wasn't there before the first updates started rolling out tuesday or wednesday.

We have lost about 450-500 places in rank by losing matches from just sheer... lag... We found that our interrupts had to go out randomly and hope they catch something. Funily enough, I caught AoE, but missed res sig. There is just no control over it. Since it seems AN is unable to do anything about it at the time, we have had to stop gvg's for the weekend, or well, indefinitely, until this is repaired.

It is definitely NOT LAG. We can still walk around smoothly and everything but there's a delay when using skills.

Definitely lag. Lower fps, lag, and skill delays..and no, the new sound changes are not enabled on my client

This isn't the normal actions of lag issues. The skills not only have delays activating, but they activate differently, and it's very annoying.

Haven't noticed the delay as much today, but man did I just hit some heavy lag in Droknar's Forge/Ascalon City (stuck in one place, no text chat/emotes/actions).

Anyone else notice how when in the middle of typing a long sentence, sometimes theres like a stutter and all of a sudden all your windows open, your char autoruns, because it registered what you were typing as in game commands and your input prompt has to be clicked back. o.o

Although I have been noticing the skill-delay since the UI update. I posted it in another thread, the one about the new update, the second I noticed it. It's definately a problem, though I haven't played tonight so I don't know if it's been fixed or not.

God I hope this isn't intentional!
